Such superior service than Taranaki! This council has been supportive, prompt and have gone the extra mile to assist with property purchases. The least stressful council to work with.
Given an opportunity to be interviewed by this council. They insisted on in-person attendance. One interviewer departed before it concluded. I received a phone call a few days later. I missed the call so I returned it. No response. No email. No letter to inform me of the outcome. A friend in a senior position at South Taranaki council remarked, "Courtesy is free. You avoided a problematic situation." Amen to that.
The council have done a fantastic job updating all whanganui facilities, gardens look stunning!, Patea town makeover looks amazing great to explore, Victoria Street pathways Outstanding!, but for some reason Waverley CBD is left bare with lack of tourists and visitors-things to do when passing through the cbd, also missing, the identity of what Waverley's core foundation and history is for display to the Visitors, more funding needs to be allocated for Waverley's CBD town facelift. Other than that Great Job!
