Absolutely appalling service by the receptionist on Sunday 2nd June 2024 at 9:40am. My 1-year-old son was struggling to breathe and the receptionist made him wait from 9:40am to 11am despite being informed that he couldn't breathe. He was finally attended to by a nurse, and even the nurse was shocked that the baby had waited that long given the severity of his breathing issues. I phoned to lodge a complaint, but the receptionist seemed indifferent. She refused to let me speak to her manager, declined to provide her name, and abruptly ended the call. I've tried calling back to file a complaint, but the receptionist won't answer my calls. There's no other contact number or extension to reach out to. The receptionist must be relieved of her duties. She is highly unprofessional. Who should I speak to if the receptionist won't respond. Utterly useless!
Had an incident in Papatoetoe around 10am. Looked up the nearest A&E on Google and ended up at Bakersfield Medical. Great experience, fantastic staff, particularly the nurses who attended to me. The experienced nurse was always one step ahead, very helpful, and highly skilled. Referred by a doctor to Waikato Hospital. In and out after x-rays in 1.5 hours. Waikato Hospital falls well short of their standards. They don't even come close to their level. They could learn a lot from Bakersfield Medical. It's disheartening to see sick individuals leaving the hospital without being attended to. Waiting room packed with ill patients, no indication of wait times, handed off from one receptionist to another, duplicating paperwork, repeating the same information already provided, and more. So, if you had a negative experience at Bakersfield, give Waikato Hospital a try. You'll be much happier.
Been waiting here for over 7 hours I would advise people not to visit here. It's just a waste of time Doctors are so slow and the customer service is abysmal just wasted my entire day People please consider Before coming here, simply a waste of time when I arrived, it stated a four-hour wait. It's already been five hours. I haven't seen the Doctor yet And now it says a five-hour wait just squandering everyone's time when I ring to schedule an appointment, they say they can't book any appointments until two days later just a waste of time 😡
