I had a terribly disappointing experience when getting a passport-sized photo taken. Initially, they demanded a payment of $13, only to later explain that their camera was malfunctioning. They proposed using the back camera of a phone for the photo, with the assurance that they would edit it and check its acceptability. I value my time and do not wish to waste it on a re-capture using a phone camera. Furthermore, customers should be informed about the camera situation before any charges are imposed. Most individuals carry smartphones these days, so if you are going to use phone cameras for official photos and charge $13, why should customers visit your shop? He's great at keeping track of who arrived first, especially post-lockdown when everyone is desperate for a trim. He demonstrates excellent sanitization practices between clients. Visited in late Jan 2024 to get a spray tan for my wedding. Juggling a 5-month-old baby and wedding planning, I totally forgot about those bride beauty appointments 🤣 (too chill, oops!). Left booking too late for a trial, but was reassured that a pre-wedding tan would turn out fine. The whole experience was comfy and very informative (even got detailed written aftercare instructions). When your tech is in awe as they spray you, you know they're tan pros. The "sun-kissed" tan (my pick) turned out amazing, no one guessed it was a spray tan. When I spilled the beans, they all thought it was my natural tan. That's how you know it's a good tan! Absolutely appalling service by the receptionist on Sunday 2nd June 2024 at 9:40am. My 1-year-old son was struggling to breathe and the receptionist made him wait from 9:40am to 11am despite being informed that he couldn't breathe. He was finally attended to by a nurse, and even the nurse was shocked that the baby had waited that long given the severity of his breathing issues. I phoned to lodge a complaint, but the receptionist seemed indifferent. She refused to let me speak to her manager, declined to provide her name, and abruptly ended the call. I've tried calling back to file a complaint, but the receptionist won't answer my calls. There's no other contact number or extension to reach out to. The receptionist must be relieved of her duties. She is highly unprofessional. Who should I speak to if the receptionist won't respond. As a result, the powder got all over my clothes and handbag. Walking into Harmony @ Westfield Auckland is like coming home or visiting a friend's place. The team there (Kahu, Te Aroha & Aroha) are the only ones I trust with my hair. They're open to trying new things, but if something won't work or suit me, they're honest about it. About 9 years ago, I visited every salon in Auckland Mall asking to go from dark brown to blonde. One salon quoted me around $600 for blonde highlights because they thought maintaining Blonde Hair would be too difficult. Another salon had sky-high prices, but Harmony was the friendliest, most affordable, and actually listened to what I wanted, even making sure I had the right products to take home. Since then, I haven't gone anywhere else. From copper to blonde to black to blonde to pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to copper again, my hair has been through a lot but remains healthy, soft, and well-maintained. The team at Harmony Auckland truly feels like family. Thank you, wonderful people!

This is by far mine and my whānau's most visited mall. We used to live within the area, and our home was just a few minutes' walk to here. We'd have lunch and/or dinner there on most days and shop for other stuff as well on other days. Even now, after moving to East Auckland we still come here on most days because we've become so familiar with the place and the stores. And it has everything, everything you could need all in one place. Imagine all your favourite stores in one place where you can just stroll from one to the other and then sit down and have a meal with whānau and friends or by yourself or even see a movie. Visited with my sister for a full face waxing and threading session at Beauty Bliss on Sunday 2/06/24. The staff was delightful, but we were both quite disappointed with the results. They accidentally cut my skin while they should have been stretching it to remove the fine hairs, leaving me with scratches on my face 😭. They did offer a partial refund, which I found acceptable.
