I had a rough experience there yesterday, got told it's appointment-only on weekends now (never used to be). The place was dirty with an empty store and hair strewn all over the floor while the guy was slacking on his phone. ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I asked for a simple fade and beard shape, the barber who did my beard messed it up and tried to cover it with some dodgy black product. Didn't even seek my consent before applying it, and it started burning. 01/03/2024 I requested a trim today at about 2:00 pm on my hair and showed her the photo and she agreed. I said just straight short cut. The initial cut was too bad it’s not straight and while I understand that she can’t speak much English that’s okay I asked for someone who can check on her work as I was trying to say it’s not straight and she cut way too short already, she’s already going to blow dry it. I asked her colleague very calmly “do you think she did a good job” she said “no” and spoke in their own language as she was trying to explain to the one that cut my hair maybe how to repair it. I still ended up crying while paying $40 on my trim on the counter.About

My visit was a disaster. Went in on Tuesday for foils and keratin, told to return in 3 days for a wash. Refused extra charge for same-day wash. Promised wash, iron, and trim on Saturday, but then told about additional charges not mentioned earlier. Anjali didn't respond when I raised the issue, seeming indifferent. Staff did good work, but Anjali and her sister push for more money. Not recommended.About

This is by far mine and my whānau's most visited mall. We used to live within the area, and our home was just a few minutes' walk to here. We'd have lunch and/or dinner there on most days and shop for other stuff as well on other days. Even now, after moving to East Auckland we still come here on most days because we've become so familiar with the place and the stores. And it has everything, everything you could need all in one place. Imagine all your favourite stores in one place where you can just stroll from one to the other and then sit down and have a meal with whānau and friends or by yourself or even see a movie.
