A delightful individual worked on my shoulders, arms, and hands, but I had requested a focus on my forearms - unfortunately, this area did not receive the attention I had hoped for. As a result, I left feeling like little progress had been made. The 25-minute dry massage wasn't cheap. This is by far mine and my whānau's most visited mall. We used to live within the area, and our home was just a few minutes' walk to here. We'd have lunch and/or dinner there on most days and shop for other stuff as well on other days. Even now, after moving to East Auckland we still come here on most days because we've become so familiar with the place and the stores. And it has everything, everything you could need all in one place. Imagine all your favourite stores in one place where you can just stroll from one to the other and then sit down and have a meal with whānau and friends or by yourself or even see a movie. I had a really pleasant massage here, very tranquil and serene. I asked for deep tissue, but it felt more like a "firm pressure" massage. Some knots were left untouched, but overall, the massage was still very enjoyable. The pricing is quite reasonable. The ambiance is great and the temperature is just right. To get to Bamboo Spa Manukau at 203 Cavendish Drive, Papatoetoe, Auckland 2104, New Zealand by public transport, take the bus number 33 from Auckland CBD and get off at the stop near Cavendish Drive. If driving, head south on Great South Road, turn left onto Cavendish Drive, and the spa will be on your left near the intersection with East Tamaki Road.
