Synergy Hair

Walking into Harmony @ Westfield Auckland is like coming home or visiting a friend's place. The team there (Kahu, Te Aroha & Aroha) are the only ones I trust with my hair. They're open to trying new things, but if something won't work or suit me, they're honest about it. About 9 years ago, I visited every salon in Auckland Mall asking to go from dark brown to blonde. One salon quoted me around $600 for blonde highlights because they thought maintaining Blonde Hair would be too difficult. Another salon had sky-high prices, but Harmony was the friendliest, most affordable, and actually listened to what I wanted, even making sure I had the right products to take home. Since then, I haven't gone anywhere else. From copper to blonde to black to blonde to pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to copper again, my hair has been through a lot but remains healthy, soft, and well-maintained. The team at Harmony Auckland truly feels like family. Thank you, wonderful people!

I rate 0. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and here's why: 1. The color was incorrect, and the hairdresser showed no remorse for the "mistake." 2. The price was exorbitant!! 3. The haircut was not checked by the hairdresser 4. The cut was uneven and not what I requested, it looks like it was hacked at!!!! 5. During the 3-4 hour appointment, I wasn't even offered a drink of water 6. The hairdresser was inconsistent and seemed disinterested in fixing the color error 7. The hairdresser left a trainee to finish, and she didn't even supervise the trainee at the end 8. The hairdresser seemed remotely uninterested in thanking me for choosing her salon. 9. The hairdresser's consultation was inconsistent, didn't refer to a color book, or understand my request
