I've been a loyal customer of this shop since it first opened its doors. However, in the past six months, I've noticed a steady increase in prices. Many larger items are being marked up well above their second-hand value. For instance, a well-worn 6-seater dining set is currently priced at $2200... and that's just one example of the pricing issues in Napier.
The shop boasts amiable staff and is consistently well-maintained. It feels like a second home to me. I find solace in supporting Cranford, especially since my sister succumbed to bowel and liver cancer at 45 years old in the South Auckland Hospice 14 years ago.
Once again, I received a warm welcome from the helpful and kind staff today. They even assisted me in transporting a large, heavy mirror to my car. The shop is always immaculately presented and devoid of any lingering second-hand odors. I delight in discovering hidden treasures here. A big thank you to everyone for their generosity and time. ☺
