Nobody enjoys visiting the dentist, but if you must, it's wonderful to have such a fantastic place that cares and ensures you don't feel any discomfort. I've undergone x 2 quite major procedures at Dental on Raffles and both times I haven't experienced any pain at all. They are incredibly caring and cautious. You don't even notice the injections, as they completely numb the area first. Will always make the journey here, even if it means 1.5 hrs of travel. I genuinely value all the staff. Such a wonderful experience yesterday when I took my son in for his first ever massage on his 6th birthday. We both had a massage side by side. I had a hairdresser as a best mate since I was a teenager and she followed me wherever I went for about ten years I was so lucky! But when I returned to Tāmaki Makaurau I was lost without her and she suggested I visit Pounamu because that's where her mum started going. It's absolutely wonderful, the stylists are all wonderful, kind individuals with many years of expertise. You always feel confident that you're in good hands regardless of the stylist, although I have really connected with Mia, we have fantastic sessions together and always try something different and it always turns out great! My experience is always tailored to my needs, whether I want a peaceful time or a chatty catch-up. A true feeling of community in a salon.
