But when I returned to Tāmaki Makaurau I was lost without her and she suggested I visit Pounamu because that's where her mum started going. It's absolutely wonderful, the stylists are all wonderful, kind individuals with many years of expertise. You always feel confident that you're in good hands regardless of the stylist, although I have really connected with Mia, we have fantastic sessions together and always try something different and it always turns out great! My experience is always tailored to my needs, whether I want a peaceful time or a chatty catch-up. A true feeling of community in a salon. She's highly professional and knowledgeable. My hair was severely damaged from excessive straightening, and Charlotte knew exactly how to revive it and provided me with excellent tips for maintaining it at home.
