After exploring this charming city, I went looking for wool that included possum fur. With the guidance of the owner, I discovered it at the Knit Nook along with a delightful array of other wool and a much-needed yarn winder. The added bonus was that my partner was more patient while relaxing in the cozy chair.
Greatest little wool shop ever, carrying an impressive range of the trendiest indie dyers from all over Aotearoa and the service is top-notch. The person running the store is wonderful too, Katie is a very kind, welcoming, and helpful individual.
This shop and its owner are amazing. Lovely hand-dyed wool and accessories, along with other choices. Definitely worth a visit. The neon elves are yarn from Roxy Fibres bought during a visit and knitted on my journey back (sadly, I don't reside in Auckland), buttons are ceramic ones ordered online later along with the Noro and cotton.
