I received a tattoo from Shannon almost 20 years ago - my first one. I was feeling nervous and alone in a different land. Shannon encouraged me to trust my own design instincts, which turned out beautifully. She applied pressure on certain skin points to ease the pain during the process. Shannon was incredibly gentle, wise, and kind. I left her an amethyst as a token of gratitude. I often wonder if she still has memories of New Zealand all around and if she has moved on...
