I just met him today but felt like I have known him for 10 years, he has the loveliest persona and is such a lovely, passionate and kind man! Went for a trim and absolutely do not recommend it. It was a painful experience for someone with a high pain threshold; it felt like she was tugging on my hair with scissors as they were not gliding smoothly during the cut. My hair is a complete mess; I asked for layers and ended up with three-quarters of my head the same length and very short. I am unfamiliar with this shopping centre, so I went to the first hair salon I saw. If I had known there were others, I definitely would not have chosen this one. While exploring in New Zealand last month I was seeking a spot to have my eyelashes tinted, as I'm accustomed to doing that in the Dutch. It was a tad tricky to locate a place that offered tinting solely, without extensions or lifts. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Aroha's Beauty Studio.
I phoned Aroha ahead of time, wanting to grasp more about the specifics of her tinting technique. Her lucid explanation (matching the same high standards as back home), attentiveness, and warmth put me at ease. The tinting procedure was expertly done, painless, and yielded a flawless outcome.
If only I resided near this salon, I would undeniably revisit. Highly recommended!About

Terrible ordeal! Rating of 1 star is far too generous, if there was a way to give a negative rating, I would. Absolutely dreadful. Incredibly unfriendly, lacking professionalism in both staff and service. When I went in for my eyebrows, the individual carrying out the threading didn't bother to ask for my preferences. And when I tried to communicate, they simply ignored me. The plucking was so rough that it caused a pounding pain in my head. They didn't even apply powder, causing my hands to slip. Despite my discomfort, they were rude and kept instructing me to hold my brows. To top it off, they didn't even bother to brush off the plucked hairs from my face. Utterly unprofessional. My eyes were left swollen and red.
