Opted for a simple black gel manicure and it turned out fantastic. One of my nails had a slight separation from the nail bed, and the nail technician handling my manicure was very gentle with it. I appreciated the thoroughness of her work. I've noticed that larger chain salons tend to rush through manicures and pedicures, which has left me with damaged and sometimes even painful or bleeding nail beds in the past. This salon was a breath of fresh air! No discomfort after the manicure, very attentive service while still being efficient with time. The nail technician was also really pleasant. I plan on returning for a pedicure later today. The pricing is also noteworthy; the quality of gel manicures here surpasses the places I've frequented before, and they offer combo prices for manicures/pedicures which is fantastic. The computer showed two cupboards in stock in their depot within the building. After payment, I waited 25 minutes but they couldn't locate one. They then attempted to sell me the display model at the same price. I insisted on a discount as it was a demo unit. They agreed to a slight reduction. Upon inspecting the floor model, I found human hair in it, indicating it was second-hand. I was appalled by this. If I wasn't pressed for time, I would've requested a refund and shopped elsewhere. They offered further discount for it being used, but such incidents should never occur in a professional establishment. Terrible ordeal! Rating of 1 star is far too generous, if there was a way to give a negative rating, I would. Absolutely dreadful. Incredibly unfriendly, lacking professionalism in both staff and service. When I went in for my eyebrows, the individual carrying out the threading didn't bother to ask for my preferences. And when I tried to communicate, they simply ignored me. The plucking was so rough that it caused a pounding pain in my head. They didn't even apply powder, causing my hands to slip. Despite my discomfort, they were rude and kept instructing me to hold my brows. To top it off, they didn't even bother to brush off the plucked hairs from my face. Utterly unprofessional. My eyes were left swollen and red. Went to drop off a prescription and cannot believe how stubborn the pharmacist was. Shop staff were very good but the pharmacist had no smile, won't even come out to communicate as I had a request for stat dispensing. The pharmacist's attitude was like we were doing him a favour, in fact there are several other pharmacies in the area and would be happy to take our prescriptions there. It does not cost to smile and does not cost to come out have a word with customers instead of passing messages back and forth via shop staff.About
