Honestly, what a journey it was. We had a yarn about foils and a haircut. My hair is a bit tricky, and the foils didn't turn out how we wanted. But my stylist did a top-notch fix-up job. It did take a bit longer than expected, but now my hair looks so choice.
I took my mum for a hair trim. Mum wanted a layered bob cut as her hair is thinning. I explained to the hairdresser what mum was after, and she got to work. However, when she reckoned she was done, mum's hair still needed a trim. I had to point out that it needed more cutting. The hairdresser started again, and after five minutes, she was finished. But mum's hair still wasn't right. I told her that my mum's hair looked shocking and that she had messed it up. She started arguing with me, saying, "Explain to me how I didn't do a good job." I showed her the frizzy mess that was my mum's hair. The hairdresser was argumentative, insisting she did a top job. I refused to pay until she fixed mum's hair, which made her even angrier. It wasn't about the money, but the way she cut mum's hair. I paid and walked out. The owner of the salon vanished while the hairdresser was arguing with me. This place is a disgrace. No sheila should go there for a haircut. I must say, the barber there is a legend, and because he's mint, I thought the other staff would be too. Shame on this place.
I've always been a regular here, and it's always been a solid 5 stars. But this time, I'd give it a 1-star rating. The new staff member greeted me, which was sweet, but her service was shocking. The way she talked to me was off, not friendly or polite at all, which are key for customer service. She spoke to me as if I didn't know what I was on about. Wendy, who usually dyes my hair, wasn't around, but she's a legend. She'd sit me down and chat about what I wanted, but this new lady was the opposite. She was rude, acted like a know-it-all, and told me things like, "We can't do that, your hair is red." Isn't that her job to help me figure it out? Ridiculous. I couldn't even pronounce her name properly, Shalil or something, and she told me to ring up to check if Wendy was in, like, seriously? The other worker who spoke to me later was much better, which calmed me down. She said the employee who had spoken to me earlier didn't know a thing about color, which was the worst part of it all. Can't wait for Wendy to return.
