They're friendly, considerate, patient, and polite. They excel at side fades and I admire their work; however, when I requested them to trim the top half of my hair, they only clipped the middle, leaving the rest untended. It appears as if someone chewed on the front of my hair. It seems like they were eager to move on to coloring the hair of the other clients. I wanted to support a local business, but now I must search for another hairdresser or barber.About

Terrible ordeal! Rating of 1 star is far too generous, if there was a way to give a negative rating, I would. Absolutely dreadful. Incredibly unfriendly, lacking professionalism in both staff and service. When I went in for my eyebrows, the individual carrying out the threading didn't bother to ask for my preferences. And when I tried to communicate, they simply ignored me. The plucking was so rough that it caused a pounding pain in my head. They didn't even apply powder, causing my hands to slip. Despite my discomfort, they were rude and kept instructing me to hold my brows. To top it off, they didn't even bother to brush off the plucked hairs from my face. Utterly unprofessional. My eyes were left swollen and red. Kia ora team. The service overall is top-notch, and it was tough to give only 4 stars. I held back the 5-star rating due to my interactions with the same individual at the front counter on 6 occasions. They don't appear to find joy in assisting customers... welcoming folks with a smile and genuine interest is fundamental front counter etiquette... not just going through the motions and replying with a 'good day'. After providing all the technical details and numbers, a staff member confirmed it could be done for a certain price, which turned out to be higher than what a high-end automotive locksmith specialist had quoted. Despite this, I decided to visit the branch due to its proximity, but was shocked when the staff member raised the price upon arrival, claiming it was the actual cost. Their lack of transparency in pricing is concerning. Avoid this store if you want to avoid being overcharged. The staff member present was of European descent.
