Rude checkout team, the team they hire at the self-service checkouts are angry rude and racist! Its almost as if they are forced to be there and working free they cant tolerate you asking them for help if one of there machines come up with an error especially the guy with glasses, will go to stoddard rd imstead!
Our whānau shop here nearly every day, staff are alright when our parents are around but as soon as my rangatahi (14, 19, 21) went to shop on their own they were shadowed around the store, singled out by staff members as if to 'keep watch', Asian security guard thought he was so smooth taking off his work vest to blend in as a 'fellow shopper' to continue following them around the store. They were then told they couldn't scan their items at the self-service kiosk and were directed to a checkout person. Indian wahine was extremely rude when my daughter asked for a receipt, she was told to JUST WAIT. Completely appalled as we spend heaps of dollars here every week. No shock after reading the other reviews a situation of racial profiling. Perhaps this needs to go to the media so no one has to go through this again. DO BETTER LYNFIELD COUNTDOWN, AND INVEST IN TRAINING YOUR STAFF WHO HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!
Have always found the team very friendly and helpful...even after a long day with I'm sure a few tricky customers I still get a smile..😊 …
