An excellent experience overall! Having recently relocated from Wellington, I was concerned about finding a new hairdresser who could cater to my needs. This salon, particularly Zara, came highly recommended, and rightfully so! Thank you, see you next time 😊
I visited this salon and spent a whopping 7.5 hours there only to have my hair completely ruined. The stylist bleached my hair, frying the ends, then attempted to color it twice in a flustered manner, showing a lack of expertise. She even suggested I leave with the dye in and wash it out at home without informing her boss to avoid trouble. I insisted on finishing the process there. The final result was disastrous, yet the management insisted nothing was wrong. The owner was incredibly rude, almost shouting at me, claiming the stylist left in tears because of my hair. I was baffled as I had never been impolite. The owner dismissed my concerns entirely. Despite telling me my desired look was unattainable, they still attempted it. The next day, at a different salon, the hairdresser fixing my hair asked if I had tried bleaching it at home (which I hadn't). She remarked it was some of the worst salon work she had seen and how damaged my ends were. She then corrected it by applying an all-over brown color, which was my initial request, restoring my hair completely. This salon disregards customers if anything goes awry, and the owner's behavior is appalling.
My Aunty owns this fantastic hair salon, and her team has been styling my hair since I was young. I believe there is no better place to go. Thanks to their expertise and advice, my hair is always beautiful and healthy. They once created a stunning hairstyle for my school leavers' dinner, surpassing the photo I provided. They are always ready to answer my questions and help me choose the perfect cut for each visit. The staff at Be Ba Bo are professional and friendly, and I highly recommend this salon to everyone!
