Firstly, they were unaware that I understood their language, breaking rule number one: never converse in a different language and speak negatively about a patron without knowing their background. Secondly, I had to instruct the manicurist to trim my cuticles and push them back, essentially guiding her on the procedure, which was quite irksome.
