The salon appeared clean. I paid $65 for a spa pedicure and the removal of old gel. I declined a massage and they offered a partial refund. The spa water was tepid to cold. The male technician used a drill to remove all the old gel, which heats the nail and can cause skin irritation. There was no foot or heel scrub, nor was there any effort to remove old skin. He even used his nail under my toenail to steady my toe while painting, lacking care. Placing my feet into the dryer was done haphazardly, causing my toes to repeatedly hit the equipment's top despite my efforts to avoid it. The nail cuts were uneven, and the color application was poorly done. The whole process felt rushed. Typically, leaving a salon, one's feet and toes feel refreshed and clean. Unfortunately, mine do not. I'll have to scrub them myself.
