The salon appeared clean. I paid $65 for a spa pedicure and the removal of old gel. I declined a massage and they offered a partial refund. The spa water was tepid to cold. The male technician used a drill to remove all the old gel, which heats the nail and can cause skin irritation. There was no foot or heel scrub, nor was there any effort to remove old skin. He even used his nail under my toenail to steady my toe while painting, lacking care. Placing my feet into the dryer was done haphazardly, causing my toes to repeatedly hit the equipment's top despite my efforts to avoid it. The nail cuts were uneven, and the color application was poorly done. The whole process felt rushed. Typically, leaving a salon, one's feet and toes feel refreshed and clean. Unfortunately, mine do not. I'll have to scrub them myself. I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be returning.
I had my acrylics refilled and gel painted on the 2nd, and the young person attending to me was incredibly rude. She seemed to lack understanding and ignored my preferences, repeatedly tapping my hands with files. The rudeness was off-putting, and I have no desire to return. Furthermore, she filed my nails after painting them, causing the paint to already show signs of wear. I am thoroughly disappointed. While you offered to fix them, I got them done earlier than usual due to a hospital visit and being unable to drive for over two weeks. Currently, I can't come back for a fix, which is frustrating.
This used to be a pleasant spot to visit. Now, seeking an authentic experience, one is met with blatant rudeness. Forced to overhear local chatter and conversations from across the room. Subjected to a tap on the leg as a signal to switch feet, as they can't be bothered to speak directly to you. The nail work was subpar, leaving a displeasing result. Numerous corners were cut, cuticles left unattended, and paint with visible imperfections. Left feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. Regret not checking reviews beforehand. I won't be returning. It's no wonder the place is lacking in customers.
