This store seems a bit dull compared to the one in the valley. Perhaps it's because it has been around for so long, I can't even recall when it was established. The upper car park could use some improvement, it's not very appealing. However, the downstairs section is decent. The store appears outdated and somewhat unclean, but the staff are fantastic, and its location is quite convenient.
The supermarket is not overly large, but it offers a decent variety of products. The interior looks a bit worn out, but it serves its purpose adequately. They have self-checkouts available for those who, like me, prefer minimal interaction with others.
I am currently disabled, so having access to a wheelchair is greatly appreciated. During my first visit, Countdown recognized (probably through in-store cameras) that I was having difficulty reaching higher items. They promptly sent a kind lady to assist me and accompany me throughout my shopping trip. Since then, every time I visit, I am provided with an assistant in the self-service area who helps me check out my items, pack them, and hand me the electronic device for payment. I am then escorted outside, under cover, to wait for my taxi.
