Fantastic hair cut, wonderful support as I was transitioning from long hair all my life to very short. My appointment was all about me and what I wanted and amazingly I received several compliments the next day at the wedding. Thank you
I was quite let down by my visit to resurgence, I phoned ahead requesting a wash and straighten.. for an event I was pressed for time, I showed up punctually only to wait an extra quarter-hour.. The trainee who was just 17 shampooed my hair which was fine, when she began straightening my hair there was no heat shield applied beforehand, my hair ended up frizzy, yes anyone can straighten hair but when you visit a proper hair salon I did anticipate a proper straighten, she was clearly not confident as I had to instruct her to focus on the roots. Even then it still had clumps :( This isn’t due to my hair being too thick, I have been to salons in Auckland for a straighten and have left with much better results, which only cost me $40 I paid $80 to get my hair done by a trainee I would’ve expected a reduction in price and for the head hair stylist to not let me leave with my hair looking like that, yes I should have spoken up then and there but I was already behind schedule by 15mins. I ended up having to tie my hair up for my event and wasted $80 on it. So very disappointed. Please do not schedule clients in if you don’t have the time for them.. there were 3 of us in the salon with only one main hair dresser and the younger trainee. I will definitely not be returning.
