A true hidden gem of a traditional grocery store. Incredibly friendly and always ready to order anything for customers, with prompt service. Love visiting you
Rose’s store is absolutely amazing. It offers a wide variety of products, ranging from sustainable options to locally-made goods, and everything in between, including a stunning feather quill and ink set for calligraphy. We purchased small New Zealand-made chocolate boxes in reusable tins, perfect for repurposing every Christmas once the chocolates are gone! We also tried some New Zealand sugar-free fizzy drinks from a company called Frutee Fabulous drinks, which were incredibly refreshing. If I didn't have luggage restrictions for my trip back to New Zealand, I would have bought more. The lady in the shop (presumably Rose!) was welcoming and kind. This shop is truly a hidden treasure.
Quaint shop. However, the lady was constantly on the phone, engaged in a private conversation, leaving customers waiting. I wanted to make a purchase, but she made no effort to end the call. It was exceptionally impolite. I lost interest in buying the item.
