Had a grand day trying out various wines Hawkes Bay has on offer. So good not to have to drive! Cheers team! Keen to do it again when the man visits from Scotland!
We're not sure who "Greg" is, but our chauffeur/guide was Robbie, who was top-notch, super knowledgeable, and a real laugh! The amusement factor of wine tours we've been on worldwide often outshines the wine offerings themselves. On this tour, we hit up Trinity Hill/Ash Ridge/Paritua/Sileni. All were decent stops, but the insights Chris shared at Trinity Hill about New Zealand Wine Collective Direct were priceless. We were glad to discover later that Paritua was part of the Collective, but unfortunately, Sileni wasn't. Excited to savor more Kiwi wines of our choice straight from New Zealand in Vancouver!
My spouse and I joined this delightful wine expedition for our honeymoon. We had a blast with Greg and the gang. Greg, a local, knows all the nifty bits about the region (and the wine)! An ideal day. Highly recommend! Just ask for some lively tunes for the journey back 😉 …
