My first go at hot yoga was amazing! I can totally see myself getting hooked. The introductory offer for classes is such great value. Michelle was absolutely fantastic and really helped calm my nerves before my first session. I highly recommend it and will definitely make it a regular part of my self-care routine.
This studio is extremely expensive compared to other Bikram studios in New Zealand - $195 for a 30-day pass plus an additional $5.36 for online purchases. It seems like they might be lacking in business savvy, as when I asked locals, many said they couldn't afford it.
I've tried a few 90-minute Bikram classes here, but most are 45 or 60 minutes. They have a donation class on Fridays, but the Tuesday classes are quite late at 6 pm, which might not work for travelers. It's a shame they don't offer options for visitors like the cozy hot yoga studio I visited in Kapiti, which had a great atmosphere. Just be aware that this studio is on the pricier side for hot yoga in NZ.
