I absolutely adored the gourmet donuts made by Chef John at Little Bambino's Kitchen stall. They were such a steal at 4 for $20. There's a good selection of fruit and vegetable stalls, as well as some wonderful flower stalls with reasonable prices. The market also offers plenty of other stalls and takeaways to explore.
I enjoyed the fresh produce, seafood, and ready-to-eat food available here. I bought a seafood fritter for $12, added an egg for an extra $2, and a BBQ squid for $5. The market can get quite busy with a variety of items being sold, including knock-off merchandise, second-hand goods, clothes, and accessories. You can also find lovely fragrances like coconut oil for sale. Lemongrass and lime are great for repelling mosquitoes.
The culture and food scene here is vibrant. If you're visiting Auckland (Tamaki Makaura), make sure to add this to your list of things to do.
