Yesterday, at Sylvia Park, I had my brows threaded and tinted by Manpreet - she did a fantastic job. She's accommodating, attentive to queries, and provides suggestions based on what suits the client. Will definitely return.
I'm quite pleased with my brows! Had them threaded and then henna dyed. My brow shape is truly 'me'. They naturally sit quite far apart. The lovely lady followed my natural shape as requested. I especially appreciated the quick service as I had a brief visit (15 min). Edit: one pic shows henna application, the other post-treatment. Should have clarified for clarity 😅👌 Visited the Botany branch. Also included a 'before' pic for comparison. 👍
There's a fresh face here. Their eyebrow waxing method is quite painful. They persist in stretching the wax even after it's tacky. The strip isn't cleanly ripped off in one go but rather pulled off slowly in bits (pull, pause, pull, pause then final pull) for each eyebrow strip, causing me to wince multiple times. They then reapply wax over the same now sensitive spot and continue with the slow technique. I've seen them twice now, and despite the gap between visits, their method hasn't improved. I prefer the other experienced ladies who are fantastic, but it's disappointing that I keep getting this individual as it deters me from returning.
