Beautiful salon and a great pampering experience. The head massage is heavenly. I've had my hair cut by two different hairdressers and they've both done an amazing job and style my hair beautifully. They also taught me some tips for getting more volume in my hair and I've had a lot of compliments from friends since getting my hair done at Alchemy :) A++
*edit to add - cheers Courtney, however we followed up on 19 December as I hadn’t received the refund. We received a response saying they would follow up and since then we’ve heard nothing, and checking my account again this morning it hasn’t arrived. Looking forward to hearing from you and understanding how your refund process works*. Awful ordeal. My brother who normally does my hair was fully booked, so I decided to treat myself after looking at the website - sounded great! The salon is beautiful and the layout is great, but I left with the worst colour job I’ve ever received. I had a full head of blonde foils, and the stylist didn’t appear to know what she was doing. There was no technique to her sectioning, and the result of this was a triangular section right at the front of my part being left out. After digging around for a while she realised it was all in foils and proceeded to splash a huge glob of bleach right in my part. It was noticed at the basin by another stylist. The ‘fix up’ for this was for more bleach and/or colour to be added to my wet hair before the toner, which ended up looking like a bald spot! I left with hair that was more yellow than it was when I walked in, and much more damaged. While I didn’t have the courage to go back in and explain, my brother who normally does my hair did reach out. They offered to fix it, and then eventually to refund me a portion of my money when I refused to go back in. 9 days later I still haven’t seen the refund (even after following up) so I’m not sure that there was any weight to this offer - hence the review. I was charged $350 for this, and spent a further $150 getting it fixed up, and my hair still isn’t at the standard you would expect for a high end salon. So disappointed.
