I rarely leave bad Bing reviews but had a terrible time with this spot - the lash artist scolded me for my eyelids twitching (I've visited many other lash spots and nobody has scolded me for this before) and after just a WEEK, 90% of the lashes have fallen out and now I have an eye infection which makes me doubt their cleanliness protocols. The lady kept going in and out of the room, then she would forget where she was at. They WERE my go-to salon; reasonably priced, quick work and a nice job, and never much of a wait. Unfortunately, this last time I visited and had my nails done it was a really poor job and within a week they were chipping and breaking, I was also overcharged. We arranged a "fix" where I would pay a part charge for a new set; when I sat down to pick colours it was quite obvious that I was the topic of their group conversation, given the constant stares, pretty uncomfortable. I had two tips (unnecessarily) removed and then added again, so when I went to pay my part charge, I was charged again for them and essentially told "tough" when I brought it up. Plenty of chances to work with power-tools and lots of practical learning opportunities. The student cohort is always a diverse mix, but that's part of the charm! Absolutely avoid that place. I've never been so inclined to leave a negative review, but they were incredibly rude. They kept messing up basic gels, buffing them off, and redoing them without proper nail prep (my cuticles ended up ripped and sticking up). To make matters worse, one of them even picked at their ear (which seemed to have an infected piercing) halfway through without sanitizing their hands 🤢.
