I’m not a fan of gyms, but I joined BFT last year for an 8 week challenge after the partner got me interested in it. Happy to say I’ve never looked back. Great trainers and great people. Everyone is welcoming and I’ve made some amazing friends and workout buddies. Highly recommend to anyone who isn’t sure how they want to get in shape. The burning sensation from the bleach was unbearable. Despite attempts to fix it, the result was a mess. After hours of waiting, I left with unsatisfactory hair and only a partial refund. My time at NZIT was top-notch, I completed the pre-trade course in carpentry and gained a solid set of skills that are still proving invaluable today! Plenty of chances to work with power-tools and lots of practical learning opportunities. The student cohort is always a diverse mix, but that's part of the charm! It's disappointing that Downtown isn't livelier and more inviting. The food court is surrounded by empty storefronts that need to be filled or removed, creating a lackluster atmosphere. I mulled over getting laser eye surgery for years, juggling young tamariki and sports. I despised the constant need for glasses and contacts. Now, 1 moon post LASIK, it's hands down the best decision ever. The surgery was incredibly quick, in and out within what felt like 30 minutes, and 5 hours later my eyes were clear and my vision perfect. The change was unbelievable. Dr. Te Aroha Hall was very informative, and the follow-up care and appointments have been straightforward.
