It's disappointing that Downtown isn't livelier and more inviting. The food court is surrounded by empty storefronts that need to be filled or removed, creating a lackluster atmosphere. If it weren't for the shortcut to the next street, I wouldn't even bother entering it.
I watched the recent war film, it was enjoyable and I suggest giving it a go. The ticket prices were reasonable and the cinema was clean and organized. If you're into movies, I recommend checking it out. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share, sorry! 😊
The city center is currently facing some challenges with a few stores closing down, like the souvenir shop and the hair salon. However, the arcade and movie theater are popular attractions. While the food court may sometimes be quiet, there are plenty of excellent dining options available. If you're looking to entertain children in Palmerston North, Downtown is a good choice over the Plaza.
