I've been frequenting this salon for years for my eyebrow threading without any issues. However, the new staff members may require additional training. They have altered the shape of my brows to be thinner, despite my request for just a tidy-up without changing the shape. I often leave with small open cuts as they are quite rough during threading, and it seems like they never achieve a clean finish. I also requested for the pillow cover to be changed due to debris and hair from previous customers and for the bed to be wiped down as it appeared dirty. Although the staff member seemed reluctant, she eventually did it. This is my third time being attended to by the new staff, and the same issues persist. I might have to search for a new place as they used to provide excellent service!
The hairdresser who attended to me was lovely and friendly. However, the one who styled my daughter's hair was just okay. My daughter has long and thick hair, but I don't believe that $75 for a blow wave is justified. When she left, it appeared as if she had simply straightened it herself. I should have heeded her advice when she mentioned that Synergy in Manukau charged less and did a much better job.
