Stunning location in the Catlins! One of my favorite DOC campsites by far! I've visited multiple times and it's always a delightful experience. The facilities are well-kept and it's conveniently situated near numerous nature walks. I highly recommend it!
What a fantastic DOC campsite! $10 per adult per night, the campground offers plenty of flushing toilets and an amenities block for those chilly or windy days. Ground can be a bit muddy in some areas. Adjacent to a charming little general store with a small range of food and groceries, as well as a self-service eftpos-only petrol station.
Absolutely loved my day trip here, already planning to return for a camping trip next summer. The facilities are top-notch and the tracks and green spaces are beautifully maintained. A huge plus for dog owners as pets are welcome. Such a serene and peaceful place, I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!
