I'd prefer fewer traffic signals in the area. Constant congestion, taking 10 minutes to cover 1 kilometre of road at any hour. We don't need more cycle lanes, we don't require year-round road constructions and fruitless schemes that squander taxpayers' funds and add nothing to the region. If it were my call, there'd be no local council and you all would be jobless, since none of you can fulfill your duties. I'd trust the central government to handle things better, which speaks volumes about my confidence in you all.
Silent, uncommunicative, won't even sell me a dog license. Managers won't engage. Ignoring complaints.
Completely unresponsive Officials, on key matters concerning the whole community. I sought details, like scoping and project options, and geotech/engineering reports, about the Otaki ravine route. For the May Council assembly, where they'll decide on shutting down our beloved Otaki Forks reserve, FOREVER. Yet, no word has reached me. Stone barriers at Shields Flat apparently fall under Council's purview.
