Pretty decent overall, they've set up a neat little shop in the old fire station with a good variety of items. However, some of the elderly ladies working there could use a pick-me-up as their attitude leaves much to be desired. It's not ideal to get into a dispute with a customer over pricing when the information is clearly displayed on a nearby sign.
Some staff were quite impolite, NO EFTPOS available without any visible notice upon entry, causing unnecessary stress. When I searched the store online for directions, it indicated closing in an hour, leading me to believe it was operating on daylight saving time. I arrived with only 15 minutes to spare. Perhaps consider adjusting your operating hours to 10am to 5pm. Most thrift stores are typically open from 9am to 5pm, just a thought.
Regrettably, the service was consistently grumpy and discourteous towards me and others in the queue. The prices are notably higher compared to other thrift stores in the Kapiti region. There are certainly better options for op shopping in the area.
