The service was top-notch. Welcomed by a young Kiwi bloke who took my order. Opted for the 2 pizza deal with chips and garlic bread. Despite being a returning customer, I was hoping for better quality this time around. Unfortunately, the chips were still undercooked and the Hawaiian pizza was disappointingly bland - lacking any flavor. The meat pizza and garlic bread were decent, but overall, my second visit was a letdown.
I've given them numerous opportunities to get it right. The first pizza was decent, but every one after that was either wrong or revolting. Being the sole pizza joint in the area, I advise newcomers to steer clear. The guy even showed me two jars, claiming one was ham and the other was 'bacon' - turns out they were identical! Couldn't distinguish between bacon, ham, and beef, and their mayo tasted like vinegar.
Honestly, it was quite average. The pizzas were meh, the chips were unappetizing, and the garlic bread was passable. Placed a phone order and the language barrier was a major and frustrating issue. If I ever order again, I'd rather splurge on a gourmet pizza from New World.
