Needless to say, I took off the gel myself at home because I didn't want to risk infection or nail fungus, especially since half of my extensions were still attached underneath.
ABSOLUTE worst nail salon!!!! Gel polish - Uneven application, visible brush strokes, thickly layered, transparent in some areas, and even holes in them!!! Tried to get a refund as I'm not a local, just here for a funeral. They only offered to redo them, but I didn't have the time! They REFUSE to give refunds for their shoddy service!! They look even worse in person!!!!
Don't forget to check the reviews first! I usually see a private nail tech, but my next appointment wasn't scheduled for another fortnight. I walked into this professional salon without much thought, enticed by the lack of a queue (a warning sign, in hindsight) compared to the other two salons in the mall. I requested to have my extensions taken off and to have a pink gel with red French tips applied. I thought it was a simple enough ask, but unfortunately, I was mistaken. The technician did not fully remove the product from my extensions. When I left, there were bumps all over due to the leftover bits of my extensions. The pink gel was unevenly applied and didn't reach the edges. There were air bubbles, fluff, and none of the French tips matched.
