I recently popped into your shop to snag an item I'd spotted online. After a fruitless search through the aisles, I approached a courteous young chap at the counter. He mentioned the item had arrived in stock a couple of days prior and assured me someone would assist. A woman beside him then headed to the store's rear. I returned to the aisle and found her there, hunting for my shoes. I politely inquired, "Is this the spot for them? I can lend a hand." She retorted with an edge, saying, "I'm helping you to find it, mate," as if my offer to help was a nuisance.
