I wish I found this place sooner. Kahu is amazing. He knows his stuff and the results are outstanding. He was able to give me the cut I wanted which also worked for my thick hair. The colouring and blend was stunning (never seen a blend as good as this), and was so accommodating too. Also, the best hair wash/massage I’ve had as well. I have a very sensitive scalp and get anxious about the hair washes but I almost fell asleep in Te Aroha's hands. Seriously, this salon is amazing and they treat their clients so well. He ignored my requests to lighten the pressure and failed to notice my discomfort when I winced in pain. This was the first time during a massage that I contemplated ending it before the 20 minutes were up. Next week I return to work 25 hours in retail on my feet all day. Fully healed. I'm 74. Aroha, you are kind, caring, and supportive. Your work is incredible. So highly skilled and knowledgeable.
