I arranged an appointment in person 8 weeks ago, and upon receiving the reminder, I noticed it coincided with the school holidays. As I couldn't modify the booking online, I phoned to reschedule. The only available slot was on my child's birthday the next week, necessitating a delay of 2 weeks. With extensions nearly falling out, I was quite desperate to get in. During the call, I made it clear that I might need to cancel or reschedule within two hours if the original appointment wasn't feasible, promising to call back if needed. Since I didn't call back, it was evident I hadn't cancelled. On the appointment day, following a 2-hour journey, they seated me and then, 5 minutes later, inquired why I was present, claiming I had cancelled. They offered to remove my extensions with a different stylist if I could wait another half hour. Having been a client for two years, I took extra care to prevent any misunderstandings due to my hectic life as a mum. This mix-up was truly disheartening.
