Visited a few times and really appreciate their service. Sam, a skilled barber, meets your hair needs. Highly recommend 110%.
Mate, this is the worst barber shop I've ever been to. Asked for a mid taper and a short guy didn't even blend it in. Paid 30 bucks for 4 minutes of terrible, rough service. I will never return to this place again. The short guy who cut my hair should be let go because he lacks cutting skills and should have never become a barber. I'm so angry, and he pushed my hairline back significantly.
Place was bustling. Barber was skilled but I requested a wet shave with a blade and received a dry electric shave. Could've done that with my rechargeable shaver in the car. When completed, I wasn't informed of the cost ($44). So the dry shave cost $16 if their price list is accurate. Haircut was $28. Wasn't offered any product to finish or the customary mirror to view the back. It felt incomplete! Yes, it was 4.30 on a hot day, but the two of us seeking a genuine barber experience were disappointed. Plenty of 'real barbers' in Ōtaki - just not here. They earn 1 star for being open...
