Absolutely worth the stroll if you're without wheels in Auckland. Great spot to grab some holiday nibbles, as well as some must-haves for whipping up a meal or two at a hotel or bach. Strikes a good balance between accessibility and selection. Some might quibble about the range, but overall, Freshchoice is your best bet if you're in town sans transport.
Got slapped with a $65 parking fine for supposedly going 7 minutes over the time limit. And we were just there for shopping. "Locally Swindled" seems more apt than locally run - perhaps they could reconsider the parking time or implement a system to prove that only customers are using it, rather than resorting to this unnecessary measure.
Decent range, but a tad pricier than the big out-of-town supermarket.
