What a fantastic store and team! During our stay in Arrowtown at Shades, we frequented this shop instead of dining out. Every item we enjoyed, from bread rolls to sandwiches to hot dishes, was delicious. Much appreciation to the staff for their service.
We accidentally left our commemorative coins at the store's entrance this afternoon (7/11) and realized we forgot the T-shirts we purchased. Has anyone come across them? Thank you!
This morning, I was attended to by an elderly Filipino woman (apologies for mentioning her ethnicity, not meant to be discriminatory but to highlight the issue to management). She seemed very unhappy and was also quite rude, perhaps because I am Asian. It's important for someone to remind her how to interact with customers and treat everyone equally. She should be more cheerful today, as she will be receiving one and a half times her salary for subpar service. Disappointing experience overall.
