I moved to Auckland last year and needed a new hair salon. Scout's charming decor caught my eye, and I've now visited Zoe twice - first for a trim and recently for a perm! She's a delight to talk to and has a keen sense of what I want for my hair. The whole team is friendly, creating a fantastic atmosphere every time. I've been a patron here for years due to the low cost and decent haircuts. However, after yesterday, I will never return.
The barber was confrontational from the moment I stepped in.
She mentioned she was just about to head for lunch, but I apparently disrupted her, and it was my fault...supposedly. Things escalated when I mentioned that midday lunchtime might be a busy period. It only worsened from there, and twice I contemplated leaving the chair and walking out because of her impoliteness and negativity towards me. I'm not sure what her issue was, perhaps she was just having a rough day? Speaking of rough days, my trim was the worst I've had from her!
