I had a chat with Aroha at the reception for Dr. Arvind's appointment regarding my husband's eczema condition. Initially, she mentioned to send the referral and assured me an early July 2024 slot with Dr. Arvind. After sending the referral, I spoke with her yesterday (04.04.2024) and she completely contradicted her previous statement, stating "we are not accepting new patients." This kind of flip-flop in communication is not professional or ethical towards a client. I feel the need to escalate this matter to your senior management as this behavior is unacceptable. Her name is Aroha...I can't recall her full name but it starts with Aroha...I am quite disappointed as I had to schedule a GP appointment for the referral and sent it on 25 March 2024, only to have my appointment request rejected over the phone yesterday without a proper explanation, just stating that "things can change anytime." I am very dissatisfied, and someone needs to address this promptly.
Unfortunately, I sustained a burn on my right hand that caused severe movement restriction and a thick scar. For the past 20 months, I have been receiving treatment at the Skin Specialist Centre. I wish to express my gratitude for the skill of Dr. Kevin McKerrow and his team of nurses as my scar has undergone a remarkable transformation. It has significantly flattened, and the mobility between my thumb and finger has vastly improved, thanks to a substantial reduction in contracture. The results are truly amazing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and the level of care I have received.
