I attended Josie's yoga session here. It was a delightful evening to unwind.
The Nelson Highland Dancing Organisation hosted their competition in New Zealand. Impressive dancing in a charming venue. Though aged, it boasts excellent acoustics and a well-elevated stage. Kudos to all the talented dancers. Where are the male performers? Historically, Highland dancing was a male-dominated art, and donning the kilt was a symbol of masculinity. It's disheartening to see so few young men participating in this wonderful activity.
Having this venue for local events is beneficial. It could benefit from a significant upgrade, but the local council, NZC, seems preoccupied with their own agenda rather than heeding the concerns of taxpayers.
