I felt targeted and trapped in the lighting aisle by a rude man who accused me of theft just because I am a person of color. I had purchased items from Kmart and had the receipts to prove it, yet I was still treated unfairly. It's disheartening to see such discrimination against women of color in this small town of Nelson.
