My barber seemed more interested in passersby than my haircut. Zero conversation. Asked for a slight trim in the front, he did one side, left the other as he rushed to finish with a line of waiting customers on a Wednesday morning. Another stylist was busy with color treatments in the back.
I'm so let down by my new hairdo. Entered with long locks down to my waist, stylist and I settled on elbow length. He said we'd chop off a chunk, then tidy up to my desired length. To my shock, he sheared off so much that my hair is now shoulder length - when dry, it doesn't even touch my shoulders. It's much shorter than I wanted, can't even tie it in a decent ponytail. Initially, I expressed my surprise, met with a long, awkward silence. Didn't want to embarrass him in front of others, so I stayed quiet. Now, facing it daily, I regret paying $50 for a pro to chop my long locks - it'll take years to grow back. Disappointed he ignored his error and made me foot the bill for something clearly not what I wanted or discussed. I'm sure he does good work, just not in my case.
The hairdresser was kind, respectful, and did an amazing job. Witnessed them do multiple cuts and beards, consistently great. Will return in a month and for special occasions.
