Absolutely dreadful service post-purchase! The folks gladly accept your money, but don't count on any help if things go awry. We've been waiting for 3 weeks just to get a visit scheduled for a faulty dishwasher covered by a 5-year warranty. And it's been over a year for our claim on a faulty fridge-freezer to be sorted out.
Used to be my top choice for appliances, but after a recent run-in with their after-sales service, I'll have to reconsider shopping at Noel Leeming. The manager had the audacity to say that because I didn't buy their overpriced "extra warranty," it would cost more than the product's price to send it back to the supplier for a warranty claim! The product was still under the supplier's warranty. Not happy :(
The service for customers in this store is rude and inept, not at all reflecting the renowned Kiwi hospitality. To add to that, most items are out of stock. The communication between the sales team and front desk is surprisingly poor, even though the store has an open-space concept. I've been patient because there are a few individuals who can occasionally save the day, but overall, the in-store experience is below par. Might as well shift completely to online shopping.
