Initially, this was a trim I needed to fix a terrible one I got at a different Barber in Wellington, New Zealand. I'm a Kiwi traveller and unsure which barber is top-notch here. So, I felt a bit shaken and Varsha took the time to hear about the mishap and how to rectify it. I've been getting a full head of highlights for 15 years. NEVER have I had such a dreadful experience. My hair has NEVER been in such awful condition, even though I was pushed to buy a conditioning treatment to "enhance the color." After the first wash, my hair felt like a big tangled mess. On top of that, the highlights were placed way too far from the roots, showing immediate regrowth, and I had to return after two weeks for the owner and stylist to fix her mistakes with the foiling that became visible as the toner faded. To make matters worse, I spent over three hours in the salon and wasn't even offered a drink of water. To get to Ayu Beauty and Tattoo Studio at 137 Ranolf Street, Glenholme, Rotorua 3010, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 1 or 2 to the Glenholme Shops stop, then walk approximately 5 minutes to the salon.
